Coach Bill Forrester
Owner
Meet Coach Bill Forrester! This guy’s track record is pretty long: Being a 1976 US Olympic Bronze Medalist in the 200m Butterfly, placing Gold and Bronze in both the 1975 and in the 1978 World Championships, winning the AAU 200m Butterfly in 1976, then graduating from Auburn in 1980! Bottom line, I would suggest NOT challenging him to ANY kind of race in the pool! In 1994,
Coach Bill Forrester founded the Georgia Coastal Aquatics Team. Proudly, they boast A Bronze Level USA Swim Team of Excellent Club Program Excellence since 2011, a Level 3 USA Swim Club, and a Top 100 Club! If your kids are considering competing, then look no further then the top Swim Team programs in the Area!
In September of 2016, he took over ownership of The Richmond Hill Swim Club, starting the next stage of his successful and fruitful swimming journey- adding water safety into his passion for stroke development and competition. Come down and meet us, and maybe you’ll get the chance to shake an Olympic Swimmer’s hand- or better yet- swim in one of his many programs!

Donna was a GCAT veteran, swimming nearly 13 years competitively, and is now a graduate from Georgia Southern University! Uta is one of the first smiling faces that you will see when entering the front door of the Swim Club's office during the week! This energetic lady stays busy between coaching gymnastics and helping keep us organized at the front desk! Also the mother of two beautiful girls, Uta truly is one of the Mama's of the pool family!
Ben Umbreit
Head Swim Team Coach
Meet the grandfather of the pool- Coach Ben! Coach Ben is a favorite and is very involved in our program. Besides being the leader of our Gold Team, he has also been involved with Richmond Hill's High School Swim Team. and our Summer Swim Team. During the warmer months, he leads our swim clinics! Batman is his superhero of choice, and dj-ing is his gig!
Kathy Zdunich
Swim Coach, Swimming Instructor
Kathy is a swim mom-turned swim instructor! She lights up our classes with energy and fun! She learned stroke technique from her very own daughter- Elise, and is proud to tell you the story! Come see her in Summer League, Junior Swim League, and Bronze as a coach, and private lessons this summer!
Madeline Zdunich

Madeline is another ray of sunshine in our pool! She is a senior at the Richmond Hill High School this year. She took over afternoons at the front desk after her sister, Elise, left for college last year! Madeline's mom is also a swim coach.You’ll find Madeline working the front desk this summer!

If we had an award for the sweetest swimmer award- it would go to Stella! She was on GCAT for 3 years. You will see her teaching group and private swimming lessons this summer!
Veronica Thompson
Front Desk, Swimming Instructor, Pool Attendant (Lifeguard Certified)
Veronica’s smiling face is one that has been around the swim club for longer than ANY of our other staff members! She swim with Coach Bill for GCAT since she was 6 years old, and coached summer league for 4 years! She stays busy at The Georgia Institute of Technology now, but for the summer you can find her teaching group and private lessons, or being the pool attendant of the day! Also, she keeps a cut out of Captain America in her room, and loves the backstroke!
Maddie Patselas
Swimming Instructor and Junior Swim Coach
Returning to us as one of the most patient Certified Water Safety Instructors on staff, Senior in Highschool, Maddie Patselas! You will see Maddie either in the water, or on the pool deck assisting our JSL group or Summer League practice. She rocks the breast stroke and has been swimming on GCAT for 9 years! The Flash is her favorite super hero.
Logan Dugger
Swimming Instructor, and Pool Attendant (Lifeguard Certified)
Logan is a busy bee at The Swim Club this summer! You might see him as your daily pool attendant on the pool deck, or even in the water teaching your child group or private swimming lessons! He has stayed loyal to The Richmond Hill Swim Club, swimming competitively for 4 years & coming back as a GA Southern Sophomore! Butterfly is his favorite stroke, and he is a Superman fan all of the way!

Gavin is a vibrant young man who loves swimming! As a year-round swimmer for GCAT and as a pool attendant for the Swim Club, he stays busy all summer long!
